Gympie Regional Enterprise Area Business Case

The Better Cities Group were commissioned by Gympie Regional Council to investigate the regional economic opportunities associated with the Bruce Highway upgrade. The development of the business case included land use masterplanning, planning assessment, economic analysis and strategic infrastructure design.

In addition to this assessment the brief also required inclusion of current trends such as Industry 4.0 and identification of anchor tenants to provide a platform for the development of an investment attraction strategy. This project leveraged off the sector leading knowledge our team has regarding the current context of Industry 4.0 adoption and the actual delivery of industrial estate projects and businesses starting out and flourishing. A master plan has been developed which defines appropriate land uses and building typologies with an associated implementation and staging strategy.
